What Are Our Events?
We run a range of events at campuses across the country, including the following:
Skills Sessions
Our skills sessions are designed to give you useful advice and practical tips for your job applications, as well as giving you an insight into what we do. Our main sessions are Assessment Centre advice, E-tray Exercises, Commercial Awareness and our 'Get Ahead of the Game' session. For details of when we're running a session at your campus, please click here.
Careers Fairs
We attend careers fairs across the UK. You should have the chance to meet people who work at KPMG and find out more about the wide range of careers that are available.
Coffee shop Drop ins
Over a cup of coffee you’ll have the chance to ask questions about our business and career options, and get some advice on which programme might be best for you. Attending a drop-in is also a useful way of getting hints and tips on our recruitment process!
Business Games
KPMG’s Hot Shots Business Game
Designed to develop your commercial awareness and team building skills, Hot Shots is a fun simulation where you’ll analyse the business decisions made by an imaginary client. You’ll see how tax is a key driver in all aspects of business decision making by looking at the tax implications of all the choices the client made or could have made.
KPMG’s Bright Sparks Business Game
Designed to develop your commercial awareness and team building skills, Bright Sparks is a fun simulation that will see you carrying out an audit for an imaginary client, working in a group and using procedures and documents that are actually used in the industry.
Employer Panels
These useful sessions bring together representatives from a number of different graduate employers. Each panel member gives a short talk (of about ten minutes) on their business, and on their own particular professional discipline. It’s a good chance to find out about different career paths and the skills needed to succeed in different areas. There are also opportunities to ask questions.
KPMG in a Word
What does it mean to work for KPMG? Our people tell us, in a word, what it means to them.
