Top Tips for Applying

KPMG recruits on a first come first served basis. The recruitment process can take as little as a month. We assess candidates against a set of competencies. We give you lots of advice in the How to Apply section, but our top tips are:

Tip 1: Apply as soon as you've decided which area interests you most. We don't have deadlines, once we've filled all of the positions in a particular area we'll stop recruiting for it.

Tip 2: Give your application form some time and attention - make sure you provide all of the information we need. The application form is read by a real life member of our recruitment team, so make sure you've spent some time outlining your motivation to work at KPMG and the programme you're applying to.

Tip 3: Practise and research - where practice tests are available, take them. Read up on the recruitment process on our website, and think about examples from your experience that you can use.

Tip 4: Keep the competencies in mind - we assess against them, so keep them in mind throughout the process.

Tip 5: Find out about us. The process is two way and gives you the opportunity to see if KPMG is right for you, so make sure you research us thoroughly.
