KPMG’s Ipswich office has a diverse client base covering sectors such as logistics, transport, healthcare, insurance and financial services. Our office is situated in distinctive Georgian buildings in the town centre, and therefore conveniently located for lunchtime shopping or after work socials. With approximately 60 staff, the office environment is friendly and close knit, and there are regular social events to enjoy. The office also has an active corporate social responsibility profile, holding team challenge days and a variety of fundraising events throughout the year to support the firm’s people charity.
Ipswich is one of Britain’s oldest towns; it has an abundance of heritage with many historic buildings, attractive parks and a thriving cultural scene including an annual arts festival and a number of theatres and live music venues. The Waterfront area (5 minutes walk from the office) has recently been regenerated and is a lively place in which to enjoy the arts facilities, or a meal and a drink in one of the various bistros or pubs. We are also close to the Suffolk coast with resorts such as Southwold and Aldeburgh within easy reach. The beautiful countryside of Dedham Vale (also known as ‘Constable Country’) is just 15 minutes drive away and London is just over one hour’s journey by train.
