Newcastle
The relaxed and friendly environment in KPMG’s Newcastle office is always a great bonus for new employees. There are approximately 160 people working here and many are actively involved in the firm’s charitable activities and share the commitment to corporate social responsibility. If you’re keen to explore the Northumberland coastline, it’s right on your doorstep, although there’s plenty to occupy you in the city too. The Baltic Art Gallery, Sage Music Festival Building and the Quayside beside the new Millennium Bridge are all much-visited attractions.
The office has a great social atmosphere, with regular, organised celebrations for staff promotions or passing exams. We also have occasional special events such as trips to the races and themed Christmas nights out. There are sports teams including a netball team and, of course, the office football team. We’ve won our local league for the last two years and are going for our third title this year!
