Management Consulting: Information Technology
Our Information Technology Advisory teams not only help our clients to identify opportunities to add value to their business – they maximise them too, by implementing ambitious projects, leveraging innovative technologies and delivering sustainable improvements to their IT control environments.
On our IT Advisory programme you’ll be encouraged to achieve your potential – gaining real client exposure from the outset, blended with studying for professional qualifications and training to build your consulting skills. Whilst you’ll join the IT Advisory team in Management Consulting, the nature of the work means you’ll find yourself working in teams across KPMG – giving you access to a huge breadth of expertise and the opportunity to build a wide, fruitful network.
Training and Development
The Graduate Programme in Management Consulting IT Advisory offers you a choice:
- You can study for the ACA (Manchester/Leeds only) and CA (Edinburgh only) qualifications and follow a three-year formal Graduate Programme.
- Or you can opt to follow a CIMA programme, initially studying for the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting and the CIMA diploma in Management Accounting during a two-year Graduate Programme, with an additional 'post-graduate' year to continue sharpening your skills and gain the full qualification.
Of all the Big Four firms, KPMG has the largest Professional Qualification Training team – dedicated to giving you the best possible chance of passing your exams first time. We also provide generous study leave, bespoke exam pathways and the opportunity to study at your own pace through online learning packages. At KPMG you’ll be amongst the very best. Our graduate trainees excel in their professional exams and consistently outperform Institute pass marks. For example, in November 2011, 92% of KPMG CIMA trainees passed first time. But let’s be clear. These challenging exams aren’t easy. The results are a real testament to our people and the quality of our training.
