Risk Consulting: Forensic

Our Forensic team helps clients to protect their business by reducing reputational risk and commercial loss.

Combining accounting investigation, technology and industry skills, we come in where facts and figures don’t agree, or where behaviour doesn’t comply with expectations or regulations. Through investigations and compliance, fraud risk management, corporate intelligence, anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, dispute advisory, contract governance and intellectual property services, we help to diffuse challenging situations.

Our Graduate Programme is designed to build your commercial and business awareness across the Forensic practice and enable you to qualify in three years. As well as the chance to study towards the ACA/CA qualification, you’ll receive structured internal training and opportunities to help our clients across a variety of sectors and services.

Training and Development

Over the course of a three-year ACA training programme you’ll spend around 20% of your work time studying. That’s equivalent to a day a week, so you can be sure of joining a firm that takes your development as seriously as you do. KPMG also has the largest full time Professional Qualification Training team of the Big Four – dedicated to giving you the best chance of passing your exams first time. You’ll even have the flexibility to study at your own pace through online learning packages. KPMG are unique in offering you a choice of training programmes so that you can match your personal learning style to the most appropriate available programme.

At KPMG, we’re also proud that the majority of our graduates excel in their professional exams. For example, in September 2011, 92% of KPMG ICAEW trainees sitting their Professional Stage papers passed first time, compared to an Institute average of 76%. That’s not to say it’ll be easy. The fact that KPMG trainees consistently outperform Institute pass marks is a real testament to our people and the quality of our training.
