Central Services: Graduate Programme in Central Services – HR

We not only want our HR services to be the best – we want our people to be the best they can be too.

That’s why we look for graduates who share our passion and can develop imaginative strategies that encourage talented people to join and stay with us. By taking a dynamic approach to recruiting, retaining and rewarding our people, we equip them with the skills they need to excel. Our programme is designed to give you wide exposure across HR, and to support you to achieve professional qualifications.

Training and Development

In your first year, you’ll be trained on the job as you work in tandem with a qualified and experienced HR colleague. You may do this alongside specific learning sessions that are relevant to the sector you’re working in.

You might also attend meetings where developments across HR are debated before being implemented, so your knowledge, exposure and confidence should be growing steadily throughout the two years. We’ll also ensure that you have the opportunity to learn about our business in order to develop your all-round knowledge and experience. Naturally, there’ll be coaching and regular performance reviews to help make sure your development is on the right track.

Find out more about how our support and training will benefit you.

Professional Qualifications

We’ll support you in gaining the invaluable CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development) qualification or possibly another relevant qualification. You’ll normally begin your professional studies at the start of year three, although if your performance is exceptional, you might have the chance to start in your second year.
