When Kevin joined KPMG in December 2023, he was already navigating a full and rewarding life as a parent of twin daughters. At the time, his children were just over a year old, and balancing work alongside family was at the front of his mind. “It was something I thought about a lot before joining,” Kevin shares. “I had open conversations early on about flexibility and family, and I was reassured that this was something KPMG genuinely respects.” That openness helped him feel confident about starting his journey with the firm, knowing he could build a career without compromising what matters most to him.

At KPMG, Kevin works closely with teams across the firm, supporting initiatives that help improve how the organisation operates. His work involves collaboration, problemsolving, and bringing structure to complex areas, enabling teams to work more effectively and deliver meaningful outcomes. He values the strong focus on delivery and accountability, noting that “if you’re doing your job well and delivering, there’s a real sense of trust.” For Kevin, that trust is a core part of effective leadership - creating an environment where people feel empowered to take ownership and deliver with confidence.

Alongside his core responsibilities, Kevin plays an active role in shaping ways of working within his teams. He leads by example, encouraging openness, fairness, and clarity, and helping colleagues collaborate more effectively. He often promotes practical approaches such as being transparent about availability and planning, so teams can set clear expectations and work together smoothly. This leadership style creates consistency and removes uncertainty, which helps teams stay focused on outcomes rather than obstacles.

For Kevin, Making the Difference is about contributing work that has real impact while fostering a positive, highperforming working environment. He believes that when leaders are clear, supportive, and trust their teams, people are able to perform at their best. “That trust makes a real difference to how teams work and what they’re able to achieve,” he reflects.
