The Powered Apps teams are communities of business and technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise through a standardised delivery model. The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement), technology expertise (S/4HANA, CFin, RISE, BTP, MDG, etc.) and SAP SaaS applications (Ariba, SuccessFactors, etc.) to enable customers run successful business transformation programmes enabled by SAP technology.

The Technology in M&A team at KPMG is a growing and dynamic team. We deal with all aspects of the technology function, from strategy, cloud, digital, technology spend, etc. We work with both acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal technology issues.

The Deal Execution team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team of over 105 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Advisory business, and are focused on continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle. KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO) Solutions Architect with extensive experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise D365FO projects. This role requires a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, with a strong understanding of financial and supply chain processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will also have practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is essential, as the role will involve continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, and collaborating with both onshore and offshore development teams. Additionally, the role will require presales activities focused on D365FO functionality and the wider Microsoft platform, including contributing to proposal development and business development. The successful candidate will also provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff.

This position is crucial to the success of KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions' customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. Main Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance/SCM/Retail solutions following best practices.

• Own the solution for the Finance and/or SCM and/or Retail work stream, making design decisions and reviewing/creating solution documentation.

• Lead and manage a team of talented consultants with varying levels of expertise.

• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of D365FO functional capabilities.

• Manage functional interfaces and integrations with D365FO.

• Provide on-site support as required, working with the on-site engagement team and client team to gather requirements, determine expectations, and finalize deliverables.

• Oversee the gathering and documentation of functional requirements and conduct gap/fit analysis for the workstream.

• Ensure high-quality project delivery of all deliverables produced, with experience in system and functional testing.

• Advise client and delivery team members on scope creep and use of change control processes.

• Deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues as needed.

• Identify opportunities for upselling and demonstrate understanding of additional company capabilities.

• Respond to RFPs and RFQs as necessary.

• Exhibit strong consulting skills, including analytical thinking, written and verbal communication, teamwork, and presentation abilities.
