The role of the Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect is to develop the UK Firm’s integration & DevOps technology strategy and translate this into a roadmap that determines our investment priorities and transformation portfolio. The integration strategy needs to promote a seamless, end-to-end customer and employee experience by enabling the efficient creation and modification of effective and reusable integration components. In particular, the strategy should promote the use of modern, Cloud-based technologies; Infrastructure as Code (IaC), support typical integration use cases; create an operating model that satisfies the demands of the business for integration design, development, testing and release; and establish an integration catalogue that supports the reuse of new technologies, whilst targeting legacy integrations for decommissioning. The Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect should also help to execute and govern the strategy, by helping solution architects and projects to design solutions that are fit for purpose and conform to our standards and patterns.

The Product Owner will create value by aligning business strategy and process goals with technology capabilities. The role will act as a Functional and commercial SME, owning and managing the technical delivery teams and advising the business and taking overall accountability technology service delivery within their functional domain.

The role of the Cloud Enterprise Architect is to help the Firm deliver its business strategy through technology. This includes providing architecture support to the firm’s Infrastructure Transformation Portfolio and for the Data Centre Exit Programme.  They must therefore translate the business strategy into the equivalent technology strategy; challenge the business strategy based on emerging and future technology trends; help business Capabilities to design and govern their technology roadmap, i.e. a portfolio of technology transformation projects that deliver the business and technology strategies; influence business and technology stakeholders to adopt the right technology solutions; and escalate risks, issues and critical dependencies to the appropriate leaders as required to ensure the successful delivery of the strategy.

The technology strategy needs to promote a seamless, end-to-end customer and employee experience by enabling the efficient creation and modification of effective and reusable technology components. In particular, the strategy should promote the use of modern, Cloud-based technologies; support typical ServiceNow use cases; create an operating model that satisfies the demands of the business for design, development, testing and release of new technologies; and establish a catalogue that supports the reuse of new technology components, whilst targeting legacy applications and technology for decommissioning. The ServiceNow Enterprise Architect should also help to execute and govern the strategy, by helping solution architects and projects to design solutions that are fit for purpose and conform to our standards and patterns.
