Copilot Data Solution Architect

 

KPMG is looking for an experienced and talented Copilot Data Solution Architect who will help  to grow our data delivery team: architecting, designing and implementing large-scale Data Platform, Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics solutions for our clients. The role is highly technical and requires a robust understanding and hands-on expertise of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, data architecture and modelling concepts. The role also demands strong analytical, problem solving, and planning skills. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills and the motivation to achieve results in a dynamic business environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Architecting and overall end-to-end design, deployment and delivery of Copilot Data
  • Platforms, across Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, pipelines,
  • Databricks, BI and Data Analytics solutions
  • Presales, estimating and proposal writing, responding to RFPs
  • Remaining up to date in new and emerging technologies
  • Working with clients to develop data technology strategy and roadmaps, and plan
  • delivery
  • Oversight and support of delivery team outputs
  • Data modelling, design, and build
  • Infrastructure as Code delivery
  • Enforcing technical architecture and documentation standards, policies and procedures
  • Analysing, implementing, and resolving issues with existing Copilot Data Platforms
  • Working with business experts and customers to understand business needs, and
  • translate business requirements into reporting and data analytics functionality
  • Assisting in scoping, estimation and task planning for assigned projects

Requirements

  • Experience in designing and implementing Copilot Data solutions using services such
  • as: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure
  • SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Blob
  • storage, Azure Cosmos DB, ARM templates.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Power BI
  • Familiar with Azure Purview
  • An understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance frameworks
  • Familiar with Infrastructure as Code approaches and implementations
  • Familiar with development approaches such as CI/CD
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as a team member and leader in a diverse technical environment
  • Be customer-service oriented
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

M365 Technical Architect

The Role:
 

The M365 Technical Architect is responsible for delivering and implementing M365 solutions for a customers. The M365 Technical Architect will design and deploy M365 solutions and will be comfortable presenting these solutions to clients in workshops and demonstrations. The Technical Architect will manage the end-to-end delivery working with other Architects and Consultants to ensure our projects are delivered with time and quality a key objective. The Technical Architect will mentor junior members of the team and encourage a collaborative working environment.
 

Responsibilities

  • Creating architectural designs based on customer requirements.
  • Deliver product presentations and configured demonstrations to prove our ability to meet a prospect’s cloud adoption needs.
  • Presenting designs and solutions to clients.
  • Delivering M65 solutions and work with delivery teams to ensure architectural governance is maintained.
  • Drive innovation by developing code base and automated deployments.
  • Work on proposals and RFI’s alongside the sales and pre-sales teams.

Core Technical Knowledge Required:

  • Ideally a background in on premises infrastructure, virtualisation technologies or applications.
  • Solid experience M365 Architecture and Identity.
  • Solid experience in Teams deployment, apps, security and governance.
  • Solid experience in Teams configuration including meeting rooms and voice.
  • Solid M365 tenant configuration, setup and security.
  • Migration experience from Skype for Business to Teams.
  • Experience with Intune and Conditional Access technology.
  • Good knowledge of the productivity stack within M365.

Desirable Technical Skills:

Azure Infrastructure

  • The Person should have 6+ years in m365 Architecture and delivery:
  • Experienced M365 architect with delivery of Microsoft infrastructure (cloud & on-premises) background,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels.
  • Able to produce high quality and professional presentations.
