The Team

We are currently recruiting a manager to join our successful Family Office & Private Client Compliance team in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

As a national practice our FO&PC team consists of 162 team members across the UK, led by 5 Partners, 3 Associate Partners and 12 Directors.

We work with a variety of high net worth individuals – from stakeholders in privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses, executives of multi-national firms, landed estates and senior members of private equity firms; who may be tax resident and/or domiciled in a range of jurisdictions. We also specialise in providing advice to Trusts and Estates, and Partnerships. 

If you are a highly motivated qualified tax adviser/ accountant (ATT, CTA or ACA/ACCA) with experience of working in personal tax, then we’d love to hear from you.

We recognise that there are also highly motivated individuals who are qualified though experience and may not be exam qualified and we are open to considering such individuals also.

The role of the Solution Onboarding Cross-functional TOM Lead is to support the solution onboarding program centrally across all KDN functions i.e. Audit, Tax and Advisory. It will support KDN leadership, central teams, delivery centers to align on priorities to onboard solutions. The responsibility of the role is to drive requirements gathering phase for solution and working for through Target Operating Model Blueprint aligned with KDN strategy for all new solutions. Experience Required

It is expected that the successful applicant will be an English-qualified solicitor with good experience, gained in the UK at a reputable firm (but applicants with other suitable experience will also be considered).

• Must be able to demonstrate experience on transactions, and the ability to supervise and develop more junior members of the team. Strong project management skills are a must.
• Be able to demonstrate good experience of coordinating the provision of advice and the production of complex and interrelated legal agreements and documentation by advisers in multiple jurisdictions. While consulting appropriately on difficult issues, they must be able to deliver robust and appropriate legal advice and exercise sound judgement.
• Significant experience of working with demanding clients across a wide spectrum of scale and sectors and be expert at service delivery.
• They must be able to demonstrate sound client relationship and business development skills, and a desire to develop these skills further.

The successful applicant will be expected to take responsibility for servicing and building the team. They will help promote the team’s work through participating in team and firm events and giving internal and external presentations.

Role summary

The purpose of the Information Security Automation Specialist role is to ensure sound delivery of technical projects, systems, and services for the GSOC. The Information Security Automation Specialist will be responsible for customization, maintenance and support of various security monitoring platforms and provide a mixture of project delivery, system integration, maintenance, and support around the GSOC platforms including Microsoft Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender security suite. We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit Director to join our FS Audit team.  In the role, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements to a high standard of quality, from planning through to completion.  You will be accountable for signing audit opinions on your own portfolio of audited entities and/or working with Partners in the delivery of larger and more complex audits.
