What will you be doing?

• Lead IAM projects work-streams from inception through to final delivery.
• Provide subject matter expertise on IAM controls.
• Provide support in developing strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans for multiple IAM domains.
• Support in creating IAM solution blueprints and producing high-level designs for technical and process solutions across a range of IAM domains.
• Provide specialist knowledge on IAM tooling, and their integration with client IT systems.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Analyse and interpret data, draft report findings, and attend client meetings
• Contribute to the establishment and development of both internal and external relationships and support the business development activity of senior members of the team.
• Shape, develop, contribute to and present proposals to support clients with IAM.
• Coach and develop junior team members through sharing of experience and knowledge.
• Recognise the importance of continuous self and team development and actively strive to achieve this.

The KPMG’s Cyber Defence (CDS) Team conducts client facing technical assurance and penetration testing and has a long and successful history in KPMG. Our clients are diverse and we cover many sectors with particular specialisms in Financial Services, High-end Defence Assurance and Telecommunications. We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our CLR Audit team.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day high-quality delivery of audit engagements from planning through to completion.

Alongside audit delivery work, you will also supervise junior team members, and provide coaching and development to help them reach their full potential. This will include planning and reviewing their work to ensure the work quality is to a high standard. 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stakeholder relationships at audited entities and can expect to work with senior level staff.

You will work closely with the Audit Manager, Senior Manager, Director and Partner, ensuring that they are kept up to date with progress, involving them on a timely basis in all phases of the audit and when issues arise. 

You will work in teams delivering either financial statement audit; technology audit; audit related data, analytics and tools; independent assurance over other info such as regulatory/ESG/internal controls; learning and development; quality/risk/knowledge management; and/or specialist, technical accounting advice (non-audited entities only).

Our Digital Auditor & Analytics team is seeking a Senior Manager with a unique blend of accounting & FSA skills, deep proficiency in data terminology and a profound understanding of the potential unlocked through advanced data techniques. While experience with analytics tools is not mandatory - a strong foundation in technology is required.
