We are seeking talented Senior Managers with experience in people centric large scale Organisation Transformation who bring experience, insight, and energy to drive complex change programmes- ranging from target Operating Model Transformation programmes Change – including ERP and digital led change, Global Business Services/Shared Services transformations, Customer, Strategy led change, and cost reduction programmes. This role will sit within our People Centric Transformation capability. 


We are specifically looking for individuals who have the end to end breadth of culture and change management, organisation design/redesign, and people transition planning to help our trusted clients realise their business outcomes. Individuals must have experience of end to end programmes - starting with change strategy development, leadership alignment, change planning, organisation design, through to full change implementation (people transition, culture and behaviour change, learning).

Senior Technical Architect

 

As a platform / lead Microsoft architect you will have been responsible for the architecture design and implementation of multiple transformation projects for your clients using the Microsoft Eco-System. You will be an experienced Microsoft architect with deep knowledge of the Dynamics Business Applications and how to exploit the wider Microsoft Cloud offerings to delivery technology transformations.

 

Responsabilities: 

  • Own the overall architecture design end-to-end by ensuring its cohesion and correctness. 
  • Comfortable debating and deliberating architectural approaches with solution and lead architects, need to be able to discuss and debate the pros and cons of the Microsoft Platform/Cloud strategy.
  • You will be seen by the client as an experienced and pragmatic architect instilling confidence in design and delivery 
  • Works within the client’s governance framework and with the client’s architecture leads to design and deliver technology outcomes that realise the business outcomes defined by the client
  • Creates strategy for technology that meets business needs. Able to create, refine and evaluate patterns, standards, policies, roadmaps and vision statements. 
  • Expected to lead a team of technical and solution architects - creating a cohesive team, identifying strengths and growth-potential – applying various approaches to close any gaps and enable the growth of individuals, whilst meeting the client’s needs
  • Supports and leads the functional and technical lead consultants or product owners with requirements gathering and provides design guidance and mentoring

  • Works with business and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs. Creates an optimal design through an iterative process, aligning the user need with the system requirements and organisational objectives.
  • Able to look beyond the immediate challenges and identify the wider implications. ‘Zooming out’ in multiple dimensions - understanding how current work fits in broader contexts and strategies, and looking for deeper underlying problems and opportunities.
  • Drives the implementation of technical governance and is part of the assurance delivery group.

The Person

 

Experience 

  • Degree level of Education in IT or equivalent
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a senior position within programming / architecture, coupled with people leadership role
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Technology Stack and non-Microsoft technologies

 

Expertise and Technical Knowledge

  • Enterprise Design Patterns and framework (TOGAF, Zachman) 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the delivery lifecycle  
  • Experience with DevSecOps strategy and supporting tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Chef, Puppet, Ansible
  • In-depth experience with Azure Platform, Power Platform, Dynamics 365 Business Applications , Integration Patterns, Microservices and APIs,   Object Oriented Design, Test Driven Development and DevSecOps.   
  • Knowledge of Web and Mobile application development frameworks
  • Solid experience leading client engagement and leading technical teams

Our Contract Performance & Insight (CP&I) team sits within KPMG’s Customer and Operations Advisory practice. We’re a dynamic mix of qualified accountants and commercially minded professionals who help clients unlock value from their third-party contracts.

Using a blend of audit techniques, technology, and strategic thinking, we analyse financial performance and contract compliance to identify cost recovery opportunities and drive operational improvements.
