KPMG’s Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for a Director role.  The role will focus on Deal Strategy within the Media industry as part of the wider Telecommunications-Media-Technology sector, but with scope to work on the wider range of services including Growth Strategy, Deal Strategy, Cost and Operational strategy (including Economic Profitability Analysis) and Enterprise-wide Transformation.

The Strategy & Performance Transformation team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team of over 150  practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Deal Advisory business.

The role of the Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect is to develop the UK Firm’s integration & DevOps technology strategy and translate this into a roadmap that determines our investment priorities and transformation portfolio. The integration strategy needs to promote a seamless, end-to-end customer and employee experience by enabling the efficient creation and modification of effective and reusable integration components. In particular, the strategy should promote the use of modern, Cloud-based technologies; Infrastructure as Code (IaC), support typical integration use cases; create an operating model that satisfies the demands of the business for integration design, development, testing and release; and establish an integration catalogue that supports the reuse of new technologies, whilst targeting legacy integrations for decommissioning. The Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect should also help to execute and govern the strategy, by helping solution architects and projects to design solutions that are fit for purpose and conform to our standards and patterns.

Working as part of a team, supporting clients in highly confidential buy-side, sell-side and capital market transactions
- Analysing the historical trading, cash flow and balance sheets of the business to help inform on the underlying business drivers feeding through into a review of projections - Highlighting the risk areas our clients should be aware of, including matters impacting the pricing of a transaction- Assisting in the delivery of high-quality service by managing your time effectively, planning and organising engagements, monitoring progress and meeting deadlines.
- Upward management of senior members on the team to ensure timely reviews take place to enable timely completion of deliverables. Proficiency in managing multiple priorities.
- Giving clear directions to engagement teams as well as positive and constructive feedback to peers and juniors. Experienced assistant managers will coach less experienced staff and actively assist in the development of others.
- Prepare and present training sessions for new joiners and less experienced members of the team.
- Performing client and industry research and prepare materials to support our pitches and proposals to clients. Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of risk management practices and processes.
- You will be required to build and sustain relationships with the client management team for the benefit of the firm and acting as an ambassador and role model for the firm.

What you will do

• Contribute to multi-disciplinary engagements, taking ownership of workstreams within legal operating model, legal technology, and managed services projects.
• Provide subject matter expertise and market insights on legal transformation and AI-enabled contracting.
• Support the design and delivery of transformation roadmaps structured around our methodologies.
• Assist in developing go-to-market strategies, methodologies, and collateral, as well as alliance partner relationships.
• Act as a connector across KPMG service lines (e.g. Finance, Procurement, CIO Advisory, Risk, People & Change) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support development of quick wins for clients such as template rationalisation, playbook creation, and CLM process mapping.

• Report to Managers and Senior Managers, supporting the growth of our service offerings and methodologies.

• Support business development, marketing, and knowledge capture to strengthen LBS’s positioning in the market.

Skills & Experience

• Strong consulting toolkit, with experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder workshops.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with legal operations, legal technology, or managed services is desirable.
• Project management experience (formal qualifications advantageous but not essential).
• Commercial acumen and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and to budget.
