Job Summary

We are looking for motivated, entrepreneurial corporate lawyers with experience of corporate reorganisations, strong technical skills, and a desire to work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment

The successful candidate would preferably have experience in delivering international business reorganisations and be: 

• a strong technical lawyer with good knowledge of English corporate law and experience delivering a variety of intra-group reorganisations for clients;
• able to understand the legal solution within the wider commercial picture;
• a driven and proactive team player who is keen to support the development of junior team members; and
• entrepreneurial, motivated and be excited by the opportunity to provide legal services in a global, multi-disciplinary environment.

The Opportunity

• KPMG Law wishes to hire a Senior Manager (Senior Solicitor) - with experience in the real estate sector ideally working for private equity, sovereign wealth and/or real estate investment fund clients and owners with repeat activity. 
• KPMG Law wishes to grow and develop a legal real estate team to take full advantage of the synergies with, and opportunities created by, KPMG’s market leading tax and deal advisory practices.
• The Tax practice is worth £80/90 million per annum and KPMG is currently missing out on the opportunity to maximise clients in relation to corporate and transactional real estate work.
• The successful candidates will have experience within corporate or transactional Real Estate and may or may not have a portable practice that they will bring with them to KPMG.
• The primary focus of the hires will be meaningful deal experience in this space (KPMG is not looking for real estate tax lawyers as part of these hires).

KPMG’s Pensions Advisory business continues to build out its new pensions team, and requires individuals that can bring different skill-sets to the team. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for working closely with colleagues in the area of pensions investments across both private and public sectors covering both defined benefit and defined contribution.
