The Cyber Operational Technology - Senior Manager role is pivotal to the sustainable growth of KPMG UK’s Cyber Security Services, providing technical and advisory expertise to help our clients securely craft and deploy industrial control systems and operation technology.  

This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Team based in the Manchester office. As part of a high performing team you will work with a diverse portfolio of large clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of projects including BEPS Pillar 2, tax structuring and international expansion.

We are looking for a talented and technically-orientated Senior Manager level to support our rapid growth in international tax provision. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

The role will suit either a Senior Manager wanting to drive their tax career forward or an ambitious Manager wanting to take the next step.

The Technology in M&A team at KPMG is a growing and dynamic team. We deal with all aspects of the technology function, from strategy, cloud, digital, technology spend, etc. We work with both acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal technology issues.

The Deal Execution team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team of over 105 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Advisory business, and are focused on continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle. Our teams comprise of specialists capable of helping clients right through from conceptual thinking of buying a business to turning their business around in times of difficulty.

The People in M&A Centre of Excellence deals with all aspects of the employee journey in M&A, as well as leveraging our experience to enact transformational change outside of a deal context. From early-stage strategy development and organisational design for carve-outs, to synergy cases and cost benefits, employee experience and corporate culture, employee transfer, through to the conception, development and management of effective transformational solutions to help an organisation achieve its ambitions and objectives. We work with a variety of high net worth individuals – from stakeholders in privately owned and entrepreneurial businesses, executives of multi-national firms, landed estates and senior members of private equity firms; who may be tax resident and/or domiciled in a range of jurisdictions. We also specialise in providing advice to Trusts and Estates, and Partnerships.

The Role

The KPMG Private Client tax team is a fast-growing and integral part of the wider KPMG tax practice. In order to support further growth we are looking to appoint a Senior Manager. 

We are looking for excellent candidates with a proven track record in this area who are seeking a dynamic and supportive working environment to help deliver these solutions.

You would be expected to lead the delivery of a quality output to our clients and participate in winning new clients by bringing new offerings to the market. Your client base would include a portfolio of high net worth clients, entrepreneurs, shareholders and international individuals.
