The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a manager to be based in CSQ although we work as a wider London region team made up of 3 other offices.  You will play a key role in expanding our tax governance offering, supporting existing clients, winning new work and developing new client relationships.

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities. Overview

This exciting role is within our Tax Governance & Risk Management Team based in our CSQ office.

We are looking for a talented individual at Manager level to support our continued rapid growth around tax governance. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across UK listed, PE backed, multinationals, inbound and family-owned groups,

Role and Responsibilities: 

Working as a key member of the team to further develop and expand the firm's tax governance offering, including advising clients on:

• Identifying and managing tax risks across the globe.
• Building sustainable tax control frameworks to meet global tax authority requirements.
• Identifying the tax risks within tax transformation and technology projects.
• Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offence compliance.
• HMRC business risk review preparation.
• Developing and documenting their tax strategy and its publication.
• Meeting global tax transparency and ESG requirements.
• Liaising with HMRC on tax governance related matters

You will also be involved in:

• Leveraging tax technology to improve risk management and compliance processes.
• Liaising with specialists in the UK and overseas offices to oversee their input into projects.
• Coaching and developing more junior members of the team.
• Managing aspects of the team’s operations and performance, including resourcing.

Global markets have been thriving, with significant funding to invest in the right business, and the opportunity to support our clients has never been greater. In our Audit and Assurance business, this includes Reporting Accountant roles, Special Purpose Audits, and many other bespoke Assurance projects. To support this growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for Assistant Managers to join our Transactions Assurance team and work with companies on the audit and assurance requirements of both UK and US initial public offerings, and with a wide variety of project based assurance and accounting topics, including carve out transactions, acquisitions and opening balance sheet audits. They will be responsible for delivering these assurance engagements, working alongside our Capital Markets and Due Diligence teams where relevant.
