Our team works with clients from owner managed business, to large multinational organisations, and we are looking for a Senior Manager with a strong financial, accounting and tax background to assist clients across as suite of innovation advisory services including R&D tax Credits, Patent Box, R&D Allowances, Grants and Innovation Advisory services.

In the UK, the relationships we have withour audited entities are subject to significant and complex independence restrictions. It is critical for the firm to be able to navigate these restrictions accurately and efficiently to continue to build trust with our audited entities and clients. This is an area that goes right to the heart of KPMG’s quality agenda. 

In this interesting and challenging environment, we are looking to recruit a Manager, in a permanent role, to work with a team of specialists who will be responsible for providing first-line independence support to UK audit teams, including non-audit service permissibility assessments, clearance reviews for audit targets and Sentinel tree accuracy. The team are expected to provide high-quality advice and support to engagement teams.  

This is a director-level role with responsibility for operations, managing a team on a day-to-day basis, and reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications.

The IOGC is divided into three sub teams. This role will sit within the IOGC Corporate and Commercial sub team which provides legal advice on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. This includes helping to design and execute global strategic initiatives (including our global insurance programs) and advising on issues related to KPMGI’s structure and network arrangements, KPMGI corporate secretarial matters, KPMGI governance, KPMGI banking & financing and KPMGI insurances.
