KDN Advisory has invested significantly in the development of our Powered Enterprise suite of solutions and is continuing to expand its solution-based service offerings. However, our ability to scale our delivery capability to seize Powered and other solutions opportunities is limited. In response, as part of the firm’s Global Collective Priorities. This position is a key member of the KDN Advisory OpCo leadership team and will achieve operational excellence within the KDN organisation, both globally and regionally. This role will establish credibility with key Member Firm leaders, regional and global stakeholders to drive KDN adoption.

 

As the KDN Advisory lead point of contact for the region, the position will design and implement strategies to support growth of Powered Enterprise and other global solutions by actively reviewing sales opportunities and maintaining quality of services delivered. This individual will also provide daily leadership to Regional Solutions team of architects and specialists who support Member firms with Sales pursuits and Delivery oversight. KPMG’s Pensions Advisory business continues to build out its new pensions team, and requires individuals that can bring different skill-sets to the team.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for working closely with colleagues in the area of defined benefit pensions. Specific areas of focus, but not exhaustive, will include

  • Journey planning and risk management, aiming for self-sufficiency or buy out, and endgame options including use of surplus
  • Funding advice to sponsors and advice on compliance with DB funding code
  • Advice on contingent funding options and work on special purpose vehicles
  • Pensions due diligence on mergers and acquisitions
  • Provision of member education and communication
  • Advice on benefit change, benefit design and implementation
  • Advice on good governance and compliance

 

You will be a key contact with client teams, with responsibility for managing the day-to-day relationships. You will also work closely with our tax and legal specialists across all of KPMG's UK offices to consider areas of adjacencies and growth.

The Responsibilities:
The role involves a mixture of both compliance and advisory responsibilities, with specific duties including:
