KPMG is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager in their in-house Tax team, specialising in partner tax compliance. Reporting to the Senior Manager in the Partner Tax Compliance team, the individual will be required to demonstrate excellent tax compliance skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The work is by nature high profile and the ability to treat matters with the utmost confidentiality will be key. The role involves interacting with individual partners and working alongside other internal departments including the Partnership Office, Risk and Independence, payroll and OGC to deliver an efficient tax compliance and advisory service to partners as well as the partnership.

This role will play a leading role in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions in KPMG Insight Platform, KIP.

This role supports the student recruitment team through outreach and attraction activities from initial planning to delivery of virtual, in office, school, college and on-campus events. The Officer role plays a key part in a team that is dedicated to ensuring KPMG’s student recruitment programmes have a strong profile at target universities, schools and colleges and its recruitment process is leading within its industry. The Officer will work closely with Officers and Coordinators in order to provide an efficient, high quality, client focused service for candidates and the business alike. The Role

KPMG’s Energy and Natural Resources (“ENR”) tax practice covers Oil and Gas, Mining, Power and Utilities (including renewables) and Chemicals. As our clients are facing unprecedented change with the energy transition and fiscal uncertainty our ENR tax and legal practice is growing significantly.  

Our clients comprise some of the largest global ENR clients, covering both UK headquartered and inbound groups. Our work covers deal advisory support, international tax and domestic tax advice.  A successful candidate would have opportunities to work across these areas.

Our Deal Advisory Tax work includes advisory services across the whole deal spectrum including company/sell-side vendor assist, refinancing and due diligence projects, to buy-side due diligence and structuring. We help our clients understand historical tax issues and structure transactions, with a continuous focus on maximising value throughout the investment cycle. Working collaboratively across the KPMG network, our work often involves advice on multiple countries, taxes, and work streams.

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, refinancing and leasing as well as the impact of windfall taxes

KPMG’s Pensions Advisory business continues to build out its new pensions team, and requires individuals that can bring different skill-sets to the team. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Manager to join our team, who will be responsible for working closely with colleagues in the area of pensions investments across both private and public sectors covering both defined benefit and defined contribution.
