KPMG’s Fixed Asset Tax Services Team (capital allowances) is made up of tax advisers, accountants, chartered surveyors and ex-HMRC inspectors who deliver expert advice to a broad range of clients across almost every industry sector. Our team works with clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large multinational organisations. We are seeking a Manager to join our London team, focusing primarily on the real estate, infrastructure, banking, and insurance sectors, who has a background in capital allowances, tax or accounting.

Role and Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be:

• A client-facing individual, responsible for building internal and external relationships in order to win projects and drive sales growth both independently and as part of the market team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in establishing and leading a new engineering vertical within ATDT, shaping a modern engineering tower to support developers and cloud engineers. You will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of cloud platform solutions, enabling seamless integration of modern engineering techniques across the team.

The GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) Operations Manager is accountable for the daily running of the Security Monitoring and Response (SMR) service within GSOC. In addition, the role has management responsibilities for Levels 1, 2 and 3 teams. We are a team of 300+ technologists providing technology enablement services and solutions across the Tax and Legal business. This business has 2,500 tax & legal professionals covering multiple disciplines. We serve many thousands of clients and private individuals by providing a modern, market-leading suite of technology solutions that provide an efficient digital experience from routine to complex tax advice depending on client’s situation.

Tax is highlighted frequently as an industry where generative AI will have a significant impact on how services are provided. You will be working as a team at the forefront of navigating that change and redefining the way in which tax is determined in the UK and globally, making sure people and companies pay the right amount of tax with the minimum amount of effort.

The Engineering department is made up of Product Owners, Business Analysts, multi-disciplinary Engineering teams (approximate 160 Software, QA and Cloud Operations engineers) and IT Service delivery professionals working on a large portfolio of systems used to improve productivity and solve key business problems across Tax & Legal.
