The KPMG’s Cyber Defence (CDS) Team conducts client facing technical assurance and penetration testing and has a long and successful history in KPMG. Our clients are diverse and we cover many sectors with particular specialisms in Financial Services, High-end Defence Assurance and Telecommunications. In order to support the growth of our capabilities within the Customer, Operations and Infrastructure Financial Services (CO&I FS) team – aligned to the Wealth & Asset Management sector, we are currently looking to recruit Senior Managers who can make a significant contribution by combining an understanding of the Wealth & Asset Management industry with transformation, reorganisation and optimisation capabilities.

You will be a Senior Manager within our CO&I FS Ops team aligned to WAM Consulting and will be helping both grow our business and ensure our teams deliver high quality advice to clients. You should expect to be involved in a wide range of challenging client engagements across the WAM value chain for clients from across the ecosystem.

As a Senior Manager within our IT Sourcing capability you will help our clients exploit their supply chains to effect high value technology transformation in support of their broader business transformation agendas. 

As an experienced sourcing professional, you will be able to operate across finance, commercial and technology delivery disciplines confidently speaking the language of each and understanding the priorities, challenges, constraints and opportunities of all. 

Our Transaction Services team collaborate with organisations of all shapes and sizes across a broad range of Mergers and Acquisitions activity. We are an integrated team of specialists helping clients focus on the key questions during the critical stages of planning and executing a deal, creating and enhancing value.

The KPMG financial services tax team is a fast-growing part of the KPMG tax practice. We are looking for

The Responsibilities: The role involves a mixture of both compliance and advisory responsibilities, with specific duties including:

• Developing and maintaining a high level of technical knowledge across operational taxes and related

areas.

• Supporting the management of client relationships and projects and becoming a focal point of contact

for clients within operational taxes.

• Understanding our client's business and working with teams across KPMG to identify areas for the

provision of operational tax and other services.

• Developing and advising on cutting edge client propositions.
• Being involved in business development and proposal activity.
• Collaborating with KPMG teams across the UK and globally to provide the highest quality operational

tax support to our clients.

• Participating in the development of new client propositions, which will include working with technology

teams to develop new solutions, taking these to market and building the delivery model to ensure

the highest quality services are provided.

• Being an advocate for KPMG and the operational taxes team and helping us grow the business

through the delivery of relevant and high-quality services to our clients.

The Person:  

The successful candidates are likely to have some or all of the following skills:

• Evidence of deep technical ability relating to tax or financial services – e.g., this might be a

qualification in tax, audit, finance, law, regulation or significant practical experience gained in an

industry role.
