In the UK, the relationships we have withour audited entities are subject to significant and complex independence restrictions. It is critical for the firm to be able to navigate these restrictions accurately and efficiently to continue to build trust with our audited entities and clients. This is an area that goes right to the heart of KPMG’s quality agenda. 

 

In this interesting and challenging environment, we are looking to recruit a Manager, in a permanent role, to work with a team of specialists who will be responsible for providing first-line independence support to UK audit teams, including non-audit service permissibility assessments, clearance reviews for audit targets and Sentinel tree accuracy. The team are expected to provide high-quality advice and support to engagement teams.

This is an enormously exciting opportunity for a sales professional to represent KPMG across the Financial Services market across the Regions. Financial Services firms – including Insurers, Banks, Building Societies, Fintechs, and Wealth & Asset Managers – represent some of the most dynamic and impactful enterprises in the UK market. The Northern region in particular is recognised as a national engine for growth, innovation and opportunity, with FS organisations and regulators increasingly enhancing their presence outside of London and into the Regions.
