KPMG’s Fixed Asset Tax Services Team (capital allowances) is made up of tax advisers, accountants, chartered surveyors and ex-HMRC inspectors who deliver expert advice to a broad range of clients across almost every industry sector. Our team works with clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large multinational organisations. We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our London team, focusing primarily on the real estate, infrastructure, banking, and insurance sectors, who has a strong background in capital allowances.

KPMG Law is seeking a junior corporate lawyer to join its expanding team in London to focus on legal solutions for a range of clients.

The Team
KPMG Law is a disrupter in the legal services industry offering legal advisory services combined with new law and technology driven offerings and multi-disciplinary solutions. The successful candidate will have experience in company law for example, M&A, equity investments and joint ventures, equity incentive arrangements and corporate reorganisations gained at a city practice and be: 

• an entrepreneurial self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to provide multi-disciplinary legal services in a different environment and manner while delivering a great service to clients

• able to understand the legal solution within the wider picture and who is keen to become a more rounded business adviser

• a driven and proactive team player who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and disciplines  

• a good technical lawyer with a developing knowledge of the Companies Act


The role will involve:

• providing corporate legal advice on a broad range of client solutions spanning corporate reorganisations such as post-acquisition integration and legal entity rationalisation

• building relationships with other KPMG teams and KPMG clients to develop and provide multi-disciplinary solutions

• project managing projects to conclusion
 

It is expected that the successful applicant will be an English-qualified solicitor, with a minimum of 1 year PQE experience, gained in the UK at a reputable firm (but applicants with other suitable experience will also be considered). Strong academic, technical, and personal skills are essential.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This role supports the development and drafting of global guidance and communications for sustainability reporting, financial reporting and corporate reporting more broadly, as well as relevant audit and assurance considerations relating to forthcoming and existing IFRS Accounting Standards, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

The Technology Implementation Manager will support the adoption and implementation of KPMG’s compliance technology platform across both the UK and EMA firms. You will manage innovation through automation, analytics, and data driven solutions, enabling multinational clients to achieve global tax and accounting compliance with greater efficiency, accuracy, and control.
