Tax Assistant Manager - Audit & Accounting Related Tax Services (AARTS)

The role

• Acting as the day-to-day contact on audit and tax reporting engagements, liaising with audit teams, the client and AARTS/tax managers
• Reviewing, testing and documenting technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and their independent advisers
• Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables.
  Developing and maintaining client relationships across a portfolio of clients.
• Developing and maintaining internal relationships with the audit teams, and other departments.
• Mentoring and developing of junior members of staff.
• Keep up to date and share technical insights with rest of AARTS team.

HR M&A was set up as part of the Integration & Separation (I&S) team in Deal Advisory, which has been growing year on year and seen by our clients as a market leader. We have worked on some of the largest and most high-profile client engagements in the deals space, including multi-billion spins, integration of global mega mergers, disposals of non-core assets for large multinationals. We are looking for motivated, entrepreneurial corporate lawyers with experience of corporate reorganisations, strong technical skills, and a desire to work in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.

We are looking to recruit a US Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to be based in our London office. The role will involve working closely in a strong team on a range of clients and exciting projects, collaborating with different teams and locations across the firm.  The successful candidate will be studying towards or have both an Enrolled Agent (EA) qualification and ATT qualification, as well as a solid experience in US/UK tax.

KPMG Law is seeking an experienced  corporate lawyer to join its expanding Northern team, based in Leeds.

The successful candidate will have broad experience across M&A, equity investments and joint ventures, equity incentive arrangements, corporate structuring and international business reorganisations.
