Indirect Tax - VAT

Our 20 Partners and approximately 200 professionals provide advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Environmental Taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.
Within the National Markets Indirect Tax team we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain and International Trade, FS, Public Sector, Leisure and Travel. We are looking for managers to join our Energy, Natural Resources (ENR) and Infrastructure team to support the continued growth of our TAS business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing small and medium-sized financial due diligence engagements, as well as leading key aspects of larger transactions and carve-outs across Energy and Infrastructure sectors. Relevant experience should include industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, regulated utilities, renewables, infrastructure assets, transportation, and data centres.  

The role offers the opportunity to work with market-leading transaction advisory professionals across the ENR and Infrastructure sectors, with a clearly defined progression path. The successful candidate will be supported in advancing to the next grade upon demonstrating the ability to take full ownership of large and complex engagements, together with the technical expertise, leadership skills, sector knowledge and behaviours required at that level.

The Treasury Tax team is a growing specialist group providing technical support on deals, financing transactions, international structuring and other complex tax advisory matters.  We work closely with Corporate Tax client service teams to deliver high quality advice that is practical, commercially focused and technically robust.

The Treasury Tax team offers the opportunity to develop expertise in a complex and increasingly important area of tax, contributing to high-quality technical advice and helping strengthen a distinctive specialist capability within the wider Tax business.
