What will you be doing?

• Lead IAM projects work-streams from inception through to final delivery.
• Provide subject matter expertise on IAM controls.
• Provide support in developing strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans for multiple IAM domains.
• Support in creating IAM solution blueprints and producing high-level designs for technical and process solutions across a range of IAM domains.
• Provide specialist knowledge on IAM tooling, and their integration with client IT systems.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Analyse and interpret data, draft report findings, and attend client meetings
• Contribute to the establishment and development of both internal and external relationships and support the business development activity of senior members of the team.
• Shape, develop, contribute to and present proposals to support clients with IAM.
• Coach and develop junior team members through sharing of experience and knowledge.
• Recognise the importance of continuous self and team development and actively strive to achieve this.
• Foster a sense of self belief and confidence in others, seek to understand other motivations.

KPMG’s Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for an Associate Director role, with a sector focus on the Consumer, Retail & Leisure industry and with particular experience in Deal Strategy, one of our core propositions. Additional experience across our other propositions - Growth Strategy, Cost and Operational strategy (including Economic Profitability Analysis) and Enterprise-wide Transformation - will also be valuable.

The Strategy & Performance Transformation team is part of KPMG’s rapidly expanding Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour.  We are a diverse team of over 150 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Advisory business.

Our Strategy & Performance Transformation team works closely with c-suite and senior executives to identify and execute transformation opportunities that add and protect value for shareholders, employees and society. As the world continues to face unprecedented levels of change, we have experienced significant market demand for our core services. Our Transaction Services practice comprises approximately 500 people across the UK, organised to align to KPMG’s market orientated structure, and is at the heart of the Firm's agenda to increase its penetration of boardrooms and work with clients across the economic and transaction cycle.  Our team works closely with colleagues across Deal Advisory as well as Tax, Audit and other Advisory teams; it is a multi-disciplinary and international environment that sits right at the heart of our One Firm agenda. We are recruiting Associate Directors in our Private Equity, Financial Services, Corporates and Capital Markets teams across the UK to support the growth of our TS business.

Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG), a part of KPMG Advisory in the UK, consists of about 400 professionals and is widely recognised as a leading independent business, financial and regulatory adviser in the infrastructure space. The group has won many awards, including Financial Advisor of the Year (Infrastructure Journal) for several years. The group has presence across the UK and is organised on a national basis, operating under a single national cost centre.

 

We provide in-depth advice on strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Transport, Power & Utilities, and Social Infrastructure in the UK and globally. Our work includes market and policy design, economic and regulatory analysis, deal structuring and execution, as well as strategic and transaction advice to enable private and public capital to fund infrastructure. We work closely with other functions within KPMG to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, valuations, tax, accounting, and due diligence.
