KPMG’s Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for a Manager role, with experience in Industrial Markets and Defence (IM&D) – which includes Private Side Defence, Industrial Manufacturing, Construction & Infrastructure – and across one or more of our core propositions: Enterprise-wide Transformation, Growth Strategy, Cost and Operational Strategy, and Commercial and Operational Due Diligence.

 

The Strategy & Performance Transformation team is part of KPMG’s  Strategy Group, which delivers value for clients by challenging conventional thinking, bringing deep industry and functional insights and executing with investor-grade rigour. We are a diverse team of over 150 practitioners, working collaboratively with and orchestrating KPMG’s broad set of capabilities within our Advisory practice.

In the Finance Transformation team, we improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business. Our Transaction Services practice comprises approximately 500 people across the UK, organised to align to KPMG’s market orientated structure, and is at the heart of the Firm's agenda to increase its penetration of boardrooms and work with clients across the economic and transaction cycle.  Our team works closely with colleagues across Deal Advisory as well as Tax, Audit and other Advisory teams; it is a multi-disciplinary and international environment that sits right at the heart of our One Firm agenda. Defence is a KPMG priority sector. That means we are a fast-growing team which presents exciting opportunities for a Senior Manager to lead impactful projects, drive our ambitious growth agenda and seek career progression.

 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager who possesses high quality consulting skills and a record of delivering outstanding results when independently leading large and complex consulting projects and working with C-suite clients. These projects will be focused on challenges such as: business or operating model change; strategy development; strategic cost reduction and cost management; performance and operational improvement; and investment decision support. All our work is underpinned by technology, and the Senior Manager will require an understanding of how technology can enhance delivery of projects and the solutions we develop for clients.
