KPMG is looking to recruit a VAT manager in their in-house Tax team. This is a new role within the internal VAT team which is responsible for mitigating the VAT risk of KPMG's supplies to clients. As a result, the role is pivotal in achieving this goal. The manager will be responsible for providing the correct advice to the KPMG service lines and ensure our VAT reporting to HMRC and other overseas authorities are within the direction of the relevant VAT law.

The Ethics and Independence (E&I) team are part of the Quality and Risk Management Risk Operations Group which is responsible for monitoring the firm’s and its individuals’ compliance with the firm’s professional risk management and quality control policies, procedures and guidance. The role is within Internal Partnership Tax Team who are responsible for dealing with all international tax matters, employer reporting and immigration relating to overseas travel. The IBT team provide immigration and visa assistance to Partners and Employees travelling overseas for work purposes and advises inbound business travellers on UK visa requirements. ..

In this role, you will play a crucial part in establishing and leading a new engineering vertical within ATDT, shaping a modern engineering tower to support developers and cloud engineers. You will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of cloud platform solutions, enabling seamless integration of modern engineering techniques across the team.

In addition, you will lead a team of engineers, including specialists in both traditional infrastructure and Azure DevOps, ensuring the stability, availability, and security of the Azure platforms used by product developers.
