KPMG’s Risk & Regulatory Advisory (R&RA) practice is a strategic growth area for the firm. Part of Enterprise Risk Services offering, it provides client services over a broad range of financial and non-financial risk domains. Within the practice we have seen increasing demand for controls related services, ranging from controls transformation, operating model design to testing. We have a team of controls SMEs who deliver added value to clients through a structured approach to framework build, process and control accelerators, operating model design, automation using AI and to testing solutions. Our dedicated controls team work closely with other teams through our Connected Consulting business, including colleagues in Technology Risk,  Functional Transformation, and People and Change to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice. 

We have an opportunity for a Director based in the Financial Services team in London

You would join the leading provider of regulatory, financial, and economic consultancy services in the P&U sector. As a Director of Regulatory Finance, you would play a pivotal role in maintaining this market-leading position and driving further growth. This includes expanding the firm’s presence across core regulated sectors by deepening client relationships, enhancing delivery of existing services, developing new high-impact propositions, and pursuing opportunities in adjacent or new markets.

We provide in-depth strategic and technical advice on strategy and business planning and analysis, corporate finance and corporate financial management, regulatory policy, cost assessment and benchmarking as well as in other areas to help our clients create value for both shareholders and customers. Our work combines elements of policy, finance, strategy and economics to assist our clients in structuring investments, securing financing, supporting regulatory regimes for the benefit of customers as well as maximising shareholder value. We are widely recognised by many industry stakeholders as market leaders influencing the future of the utilities sector.

We are looking for a Director to lead our Commercial Projects business focussed on the NHS. The team sits at the cross section of KPMG leading healthcare advisory business, and its Deal Advisory capability. The Director will focus on the market need for NHS organisations at all levels to increase their commercial focus and organisation in areas such as generating additional income, accessing additional capacity through deals with the independent sector or utilising their asset base better. This may include advice around partnerships, joint ventures, group structures and significant contracts. The Director will lead a team covering a breadth of services in these areas ranging from opportunity identification, business case processes, commercial and financial advisory services to resulting ventures.
