MS Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Consultant

The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365F&O Senior Consultant with experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365F&O projects. With a hands-on approach and solid understanding of finance process and procedures combined with knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients and project teams working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused around Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development whilst mentoring more junior staff. 

This role is therefore key to KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within an established and market-leading global Big 4 firm. 

Responsibilities

• Involvement in full end-to-end implementations and all phases of project life cycle
• Involvement with D365FO interfaces and Integrations
• Ability to gather and document functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis
• Ability to produce solution design and integration design documents, alongside development teams.

The team sits at the cross section of KPMG leading healthcare advisory business, and its Deal Advisory capability. The Director will focus on the market need for NHS organisations at all levels to increase their commercial focus and organisation in areas such as generating additional income, accessing additional capacity through deals with the independent sector or utilising their asset base better. This may include advice around partnerships, joint ventures, group structures and significant contracts. The Director will lead a team covering a breadth of services in these areas ranging from opportunity identification, business case processes, commercial and financial advisory services to resulting ventures.

The role sits within our Banking Finance Transformation Capability working with Clients to deliver finance and regulatory change. Successful candidates should have excellent Banking Industry experience, as well as in-depth knowledge of Finance Operating Model and Finance Systems.

The Resource Advisor will work closely with the Resourcing Manager and Performance Leader within their allocated department(s) to understand the resourcing needs of the business. This will involve combining the management of the annual resource planning cycle of our recurring work with the proactive management of ad hoc resourcing requests for non-audit projects. In order to do this, they need to develop a good understanding of the client base of their respective departments, the pipeline of opportunities and the skills set of the client facing staff in order to make the right resourcing decisions in conjunction with the Resourcing Manager.
