KPMG’s Strategy & Performance Transformation practice is looking for exceptional candidates for an Associate Director role, with a sector focus on the Consumer, Retail & Leisure industry and with particular experience in Deal Strategy, one of our core propositions. Full time tax compliance senior manager, working with staff and external tax return preparers in many countries responsible for timely accurate tax reporting.  Reports to London based tax director. Hybrid role - 2 days a week in London office.

The KDN Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is responsible for managing the organisation's global legal and regulatory risk. The OGC is expanding by seeking an experienced commercial lawyer focused on technology, data privacy, data protection and AI. The successful candidate will deliver practical and business-focused legal advice to our business and corporate services partners and work collaboratively with other KPMG network firms worldwide.

Tax Manager – Corporate Tax Compliance and Advisory

Base Location: Leeds is the main hub however we are open to regional candidates as well.

 What will you be doing?

•  Being one of the main points of contact on a portfolio of clients on day-to-day tax matters and working with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers on our larger client accounts
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and understanding the client’s business
• Managing tax advisory projects by providing UK corporation tax input and overseeing the successful delivery of commercially viable and technically excellent advice including working with other areas of tax and our overseas members firms to incorporate their input into our advice
• Ensuring our clients are kept up to date with emerging corporate and wider tax developments impacting their business
• Managing the delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services
• Supervising the work of junior members of staff and providing coaching to support their development.
• Assisting our Partners, Directors and Senior Managers with client account management, including complying with appropriate quality and risk management procedures and financial management
• Seeking out and pursuing business development opportunities with clients and targets and actively participating with Senior Managers, Directors / Partners in business development activities

 What will you need to do it?

• Qualified CTA or ACA / CA or equivalent
• Strong UK corporation tax compliance and advisory experience, including tax accounting
• Ability to:
