KPMG’s Pensions Advisory business continues to build out its new pensions team, and requires individuals that can bring different skill sets to the team.

We are now looking for talented and experienced Assistant Manager to join our pensions actuarial team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality actuarial pensions advice in relation to defined benefit pension schemes with a focus on the public sector but also schemes in the private sector.

The KPMG Alternatives team provides high-quality and impactful tax advisory and compliance services to the Alternative Investment Fund sector. This includes private equity, hedge funds, credit funds and real estate funds.

Due to our ongoing growth, we have a number of job openings for exceptional candidates. This posting is for a role focussed on Real Estate tax and would be well suited to a driven and motivated candidate with experience in the Real Estate sector. We would also like to hear from candidates who have experience of working in a tax team within a real estate fund. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving utilisation and dependence upon our firm as the go-to place for all things Microsoft at KPMG. Acting as a trusted advisor, the BDM will support member firms in shaping strategic approaches that meet their clients’ business and technology needs.

The role will focus on creating and progressing opportunities for MBS across the International market, particularly within the Financial Services Sector—which includes industries such as Banking, Insurance, Asset Management & Pension. Leveraging a hybrid skillset of business development, presales, technical expertise, and delivery know-how, the BDM will help position our capabilities effectively within these dynamic sectors.

The KPMG financial services tax team is a fast-growing part of the KPMG tax practice. We are looking for

The Responsibilities:
The role involves a mixture of both compliance and advisory responsibilities, with specific duties including:

• Developing and maintaining a high level of technical knowledge across operational taxes and related

areas.

• Supporting the management of client relationships and projects and becoming a focal point of contact

for clients within operational taxes.

• Understanding our client's business and working with teams across KPMG to identify areas for the

provision of operational tax and other services.

• Developing and advising on cutting edge client propositions.
• Being involved in business development and proposal activity.
• Collaborating with KPMG teams across the UK and globally to provide the highest quality operational

tax support to our clients.

• Participating in the development of new client propositions, which will include working with technology

teams to develop new solutions, taking these to market and building the delivery model to ensure

the highest quality services are provided.

• Being an advocate for KPMG and the operational taxes team and helping us grow the business

through the delivery of relevant and high-quality services to our clients.

The Person:  

The successful candidates are likely to have some or all of the following skills:

• Evidence of deep technical ability relating to tax or financial services – e.g., this might be a

qualification in tax, audit, finance, law, regulation or significant practical experience gained in an

industry
