We are currently recruiting Principal Advisors who can make a significant contribution to the creation and development of KPMG’s Testing Practice within the Management Consulting Technology Enablement team, through sector expertise, client engagement and delivery of new business opportunities.

The KPMG Alternatives team provides high-quality and impactful tax advisory and compliance services to the Alternative Investment Fund sector. This includes private equity, hedge funds, credit funds and real estate funds.

Due to our ongoing growth, we have a number of job openings for exceptional candidates. This posting is for a role focussed on Alternative Investment Fund tax and would be well suited to a driven and motivated candidate with experience in the Alternative Investment Fund sector. As a member of the client service team, supervise and manage engagements and other related activities under the general direction of partners, directors, and/or senior managers, leading staff, consultants and assistant managers in providing outstanding client service.

What will you be doing?

• Managing team activities to ensure compliance with KPMG risk management policies and procedures and manage engagement administration.
• Supervising and coaching junior members of staff to help them realise their full potential
• Final review of materials and communications for senior members of the practice for KPMG/client representation to immigration authorities and government officials
• Monitor client service standards, swiftly addressing delivery failures (such as missed SLAs) and implement resolution plan to ensure these are prevented
• Be responsible for effective management of engagement financials, cash collection and review of significant invoices

What will you need to do it?

• Extensive demonstratable experience in Global Immigration
• Thorough understanding of immigration concepts and issues and pro-actively research current immigration developments
• Previous experience working at Manager level within Global Immigration
• Experience of managing small teams, coaching and mentoring junior staff
• Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy and strong IT skills including very good MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point
