The Powered Apps teams are communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver SaaS ERP and EPM based transformation programmes based on KPMG Powered Enterprise. The teams use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Planning, Finance, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in the cloud applications (e.g. Oracle, Workday, Coupa) to lead and deliver client programmes, to support pre-sales activities and to develop improvement and extensions to the Powered Enterprise model. We are seeking a talented Senior Manager with experience leading large client Organisational Transformation programmes. Typically, these programmes would cover at least one of the following areas: Workforce Transformation (inc. AI), Organisation Design, Change Management, HR Transformation, Digital Transformation, Learning and Development. Our work is incredibly varied, but would typically cover:

• Leading complex people centric projects and transformation workstreams with a team of consultants, to drive business change, integrating across large multi-disciplinary programme teams and providing leadership on the people side of the solution/ implementation.
• Providing specialist advice and working closely with client leads and team members to successfully deliver project outcomes
• Contributing to business development and sales, working with account teams to scope opportunities and developing compelling proposals to win new clients
• Contributing to the development of methods, tools and thought leadership
• Build and shape relationships with clients on a daily basis
• Action as a career coach for their team members, helping them to develop and progress their careers

The role will be subject to MOD and UK Govt public sector governance and controls.  Therefore, you will either already hold Security Clearance, or be able to obtain clearance when you join us.

The role of the Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect is to develop the UK Firm’s integration & DevOps technology strategy and translate this into a roadmap that determines our investment priorities and transformation portfolio. The integration strategy needs to promote a seamless, end-to-end customer and employee experience by enabling the efficient creation and modification of effective and reusable integration components. In particular, the strategy should promote the use of modern, Cloud-based technologies; Infrastructure as Code (IaC), support typical integration use cases; create an operating model that satisfies the demands of the business for integration design, development, testing and release; and establish an integration catalogue that supports the reuse of new technologies, whilst targeting legacy integrations for decommissioning. The Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect should also help to execute and govern the strategy, by helping solution architects and projects to design solutions that are fit for purpose and conform to our standards and patterns.

Tax Transformation ERP – Manager

We are looking for talented Managers to join us in Canada Square, London (although flexibility on location will be considered) with experience in a broad range of areas including:

• Tax transformation experience – the ability to analyse tax requirements, design tax processes and implement tax technology solutions
• Strong and practical ERP finance and tax experience, specifically in SAP S4 HANA, Oracle or Workday, as a foundation for tax processes
• Experience of design and configuration of ERP systems for tax purposes
• Experience of implementing VAT determination engines and bolt-ons, such as Vertex O-Series, Thomson Reuters OneSource Determination, or Meridian VAT Add-On
• Tax technology implementation experience, including requirements gathering from a tax, IT and users and creating and reviewing design documentation
• Tax process knowledge, for example indirect tax, direct tax and/or transfer pricing
• Familiarity with end-to-end finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-report) and their integration with tax
• Advising on appropriate tax technology to support compliance and reporting processes
• Project management
• Client and engagement management

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Project managing the overall delivery of global and large tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program
• Helping clients to design, build and deploy ERP and tax automation solutions which are designed for Tax
• Supporting our clients understand the importance of Tax, the optimal way to address tax requirements in their countries and the value that it can bring
• Working together with our other Tax Transformation colleagues as well as other groups in KPMG such as Consulting
• Helping clients develop robust global governance and process frameworks
• Develop our service offerings and service delivery models
• Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships with both existing and new clients
• Line manage assistant managers and graduate trainees and overseeing output of offshore resource in order to deliver client projects;
• Identify opportunities to identify additional services that the client may need and liaise with subject specialists.
