Indirect Tax - VAT

KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. Our 20 Partners and approximately 200 professionals provide advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Environmental Taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations.
Within the National Markets Indirect Tax team we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain and International Trade, FS, Public Sector, Leisure and Travel. The majority of the team specialise in VAT but we also have Trade and Customs and Environmental Tax specialists within the team. Our clients range from large organisations and corporates through to smaller fast growing businesses. The team deliver value and support our portfolio of clients.

This role sits within the Operational Excellence Hubs (OEH). OEH is an innovative, agile and collaborative function that provides services to support our client-facing colleagues in the delivery of their work. OEH supports the business through a variety of specialist teams, who work collaboratively to support the business to run smoothly.

The Credit Management department is part of OEH Finance. You will be joining a team that provides vital credit control support to the Business, working with a wide portfolio of blue-chip companies, providing high level credit control administration and support, delivering excellent customer service on a variety of tasks and activities and enabling customers to focus on their core business objectives contributing to KPMG’s goal of driving growth through operational excellence.

KPMG’s FS Corporate Tax team has an immediate need for an Insurance Tax Senior Manager to support delivery of a range of engagements across corporate tax advisory and tax audit assist work. The KPMG FS Corporate Tax Team has a strong market reputation working with leading Global and UK banks and insurers on a range of tax services. This position is for a KDN Microsoft Solution Architect who is self-motivated, experienced, and skilled, to join the KPMG Delivery Network. This role is responsible for driving pre-sales solutioning for Microsoft Data & AI offerings, including Microsoft Fabric, Purview, and complementary Azure services. The architect will lead proposal development, create solution blueprints, and collaborate with global teams to win large-scale transformation deals.
