This Manager role is Financial Services focussed. KPMG has one of the largest Financial Services Indirect Tax departments, advising banking, insurance, investment management, asset backed finance, real estate and private equity clients across a broad range of issues.

The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivery at this specialist level and will be actively involved in managing the performance of junior colleagues within the team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will be a key member of our team, providing high quality Indirect Tax advisory services on a broad range of indirect tax issues to a range of clients;

  • Providing advice on technical issues;

The Responsibilities/Job Description  

This role involves working on a range of projects.

The work involves:

  • Providing technical transfer pricing advice to our National Markets clients on a broad range of topics
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships including acting as the main point of contact for clients and relevant stakeholders
  • Managing various projects across multiple jurisdictions and leading the day-to-day delivery processes
  • Coordinating with KPMG's transfer pricing, international tax, indirect tax and advisory teams on a range of topics
  • Financial management, including developing and managing project budgets and billing to ensure profitable delivery of client engagements
  • Coaching and developing junior team members which will also include delivering training sessions and providing on-the-job coaching on a regular basis
  • Ensuring timely reporting to senior management
  • Actively contributing to identifying new opportunities and managing business development and marketing initiatives along with proposition and market leads

The Person

We are looking for candidates with the following skills/experience:

  • Either a CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA or attained a Bachelors or Masters degree in economics, finance, law, accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive transfer pricing experience, preferably including experience of preparing transfer pricing documentation, tax value chain analyses, benchmarking, supporting with tax authority enquiries/Advance Pricing Agreements, project management and managing junior team members
  • Sound judgement, including the ability to identify and evaluate risk issues and know when to involve others.
  • Strong analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice
  • High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Keen ability and willingness to keep up to date technically and develop the technical ability of the team below you.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative as appropriate

Base Location: London, Manchester or Birmingham plus network of 20 offices nationally

A Manager in our Technology and Data SAP capability will significantly contribute to expanding the SAP Supply Chain Practice, with a primary focus on the Source-to-Pay (S2P) cycle. This individual will lead a team of functional consultants to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that streamline procurement and purchasing processes, aligned with global business objectives within SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud and on-prem/private cloud). The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate diverse requirements into robust, compliant SAP solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other modules and adherence to SAP best practices. The SAP S2P Manager will champion the adoption of S/4HANA capabilities, minimize customizations, and ensure alignment with industry and SAP procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead fit-to-standard workshops and translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP S2P functional designs.
  • Oversee configuration and maintenance of core S2P sub-modules, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Supplier Management.
  • Manage critical areas such as direct and indirect procurement, contract management, self-service procurement, and integration with external systems like SAP Ariba.
  • Coordinate seamless integration between SAP S2P (MM) and other modules such as FI, CO, SD, and PP to ensure data consistency and process flow across the enterprise.
