Business Development Senior Manager – Consumer, Retail & Leisure

An opportunity for a Business Development Senior Manager to work in the Consumer Retail & Leisure sector to lead and grow a portfolio of key accounts in the sector.

We do this by focusing on two key areas – delivering the people agenda on large scale, complex, change programmes and transforming the HR function by technology. 

We are looking for experienced management consultants who can lead workstreams on complex learning programmes, who have experience in Financial Services - specifically banking and insurance clients.

This exciting role is within our London Region Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our Canary Wharf office. 

Our clients include UK headquartered businesses and inbound groups across a range of sectors. 

Our work in the tax advisory space includes supporting clients with business and fiscal change. This can include advising on new jurisdiction entry, the development of new business areas, business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility and the impact global fiscal change (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2).

We work as a hybrid team where we get together in the office or at client sites at least twice a week to collaborate and learn together, with flexibility over how you spend the rest of your time.

This role sitsis specifically aimed at supporting our Clients in the Middle East to deliver finance and regulatory change. Successful candidates should have excellent Financial Services Industry experience, in-depth knowledge of Finance Operating Models and Finance Systems and be willing to the Middle East for client delivery as required.

• Acting as the day-to-day contact on audit and tax reporting engagements, liaising with audit teams, the client and AARTS/tax managers
• Reviewing, testing and documenting technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and their independent advisers
• Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables.
  Developing and maintaining client relationships across a portfolio of clients.
• Developing and maintaining internal relationships with the audit teams, and other departments.
• Mentoring and developing of junior members of staff.
• Keep up to date and share technical insights with rest of AARTS team.
