Our Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) advises major public and private sector infrastructure and asset-intensive organisations across all sectors, including Natural Resources, Energy, Power, Utilities, Transport, Oil and Gas, Defence, Health and Education. We are strengthening our Strategic Delivery Partner capability to meet increasing demand from these organisations in support for how to use data, analytics and technology to unlock value from their assets and infrastructure. This role is in the Security Advisory and Assessment (SAA) team, within the KPMG UK Information Security function.  The SAA team are critical in the assessment, development and delivery of innovative, technology-enabled secure solutions for KPMG and our clients.  The SAA team is vital to KPMG’s ability to demonstrate that we are delivering ‘secure by design’ solutions such that our business stakeholders, our clients and our regulators trust KPMG. 

The Role

• Lead the design and delivery of a Supply Chain workstream on a large SAP S/4HANA project
• Use Business skills along with knowledge of SAP Supply Chain workstream to design and implement complex solutions for customers and between other workstreams
• Understand client supply chain requirements and integration points with other functional areas, to optimise the processes and maximise the benefits of SAP
• Design and implement process improvements by going through the project cycle (design, build, test, training, go-live, post go-live support)
• Advise on technical integration of the SAP application with other customer and 3rd party tools/applications within Supply Chain
• Lead and Support business development and sales initiatives including bid and proposal support/presenting with our SAP clients
• Monitor SAP and Industry trends including awareness of SAP Roadmap and enhancements

The Person

SAP Supply Chain functional expertise in at least one of the following solution areas:

  • SAP Digital manufacturing cloud (DMC)
  • SAP ME/PEO
  • SAP extended Warehouse Management
  • SAP Enterprise Asset Management/PM/MRO

  • SAP Product Lifecycle Management
  • SAP Transport Management
• Strong functional understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain process area and how they integrate with other business functions
• Advise on technical integrations of SAP applications with other client and 3rd party tools/applications in the Supply Chain process area
• SAP system design, build and deployment experience – 4 full lifecycle implementations preferred
• Experience of SAP in Manufacturing industries, Consumer Packaging Goods, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, or Retail
•  Experience of facilitating a design workshop and then translating the requirements into design
• Ability to build strong client relationships based on subject matter expertise and quality of delivery
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large volume of information
• Strong interpersonal, team building, organisational and motivational skills
• Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members 
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity

• Support business development and sales initiatives including bid and proposal support with our SAP clients (comfortable in presenting to C-Suite Stakeholders)
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and supporting multiple activities such as mentoring and capability knowledge transfer to enhance the practice.
• Possess working knowledge of digital trends in Supply Chain (e.g., ESG, Industry 4.0, SCM Digital Solutions that integrate with SAP)
