The KDN National Information Technology Security Officer leads the Information Security Organisation and the evolution of the security program, ensuring alignment with global information security priorities, KPMG policies, and regulatory requirements while engaging senior leadership and key stakeholders. The KDN NITSO acts as the primary liaison with global security and risk functions, oversees information security and third‑party risk management, and ensures consistent implementation and regular review of security controls, policies, training, and incident management across KDN.

Role summary

This role is an important part of IOGC. It involves the provision of legal advice to the leadership of KPMG International (such as the Global Board and Global Management Team) and their teams on a wide variety of key strategic issues, as well as supporting the execution of key business decisions made by KPMG International and the global network of member firms in dealing with legal, regulatory and reputational issues and risks for the organization.

The Northern region in particular is recognised as a national engine for growth, innovation and opportunity, with FS organisations and regulators increasingly enhancing their presence outside of London and into the Regions. In this role you will be facing into that market on behalf of the firm, understanding businesses’ challenges and strategies, convening client contacts with KPMG professionals, and bringing a creative and entrepreneurial mindset to join the dots within our firm in order to deliver solutions of real value.

The Strategy group’s teams work with C-level Executives to identify, structure and solve their most critical strategic issues across the economic and transaction cycles. As part of a fast-paced and dynamic group, our consultants offer strategic advice on financial, business and operating models to corporate, public sector and private equity clients.

Within the Strategy group team we have an established pricing strategy practice, serving number of sectors including retail, consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, transport and industrial manufacturing sectors serving UK, European and international clients. We work with C-level executives to identify, structure and solve their most critical strategic issues related to deal strategy, and growth strategy.
