KPMG’s Risk & Regulatory Advisory (R&RA) practice is a strategic growth area for the firm. Part of Enterprise Risk Services offering, it provides client services over a broad range of financial and non-financial risk domains. Within the practice we have seen increasing demand for controls related services, ranging from controls transformation, operating model design to testing. We have a team of controls SMEs who deliver added value to clients through a structured approach to framework build, process and control accelerators, operating model design, automation using AI and to testing solutions. Our dedicated controls team work closely with other teams through our Connected Consulting business, including colleagues in Technology Risk,  Functional Transformation, and People and Change to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice.

Our Major Projects Advisory (MPA) team specialises in providing clarity to Boards, Executives and SRO’s and senior leaders across major public and private sector organisations, on the delivery of their complex projects and programmes. We work on some of the UK’s most strategically important programmes, and across all sectors including Utilities, Power, Energy, Transport, Natural Resources, Oil & Gas, Defence, Health and Education.

As a Senior Manager, we expect you to take a lead role on challenging and complex engagements.  You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage stakeholders and deliver quality solutions to our clients. You will be expected to originate opportunities through both internal and external relationships and take the lead on business development activities, including marketing, knowledge sharing and practice development.

The Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) at KPMG UK (ca. 400 FTEs) provide in-depth advice on strategic, financial, regulatory and commercial issues driving investments in infrastructure across Transport, Power & Utilities, and Social Infrastructure in the UK and Europe. Our work includes market and policy design, economic and regulatory analysis, deal structuring and execution, as well as strategic and transaction advice to enable private and public capital to fund infrastructure. We work closely with other functions within KPMG to advise clients on due diligence, transactions and valuations.

Power & Utilities (P&U), led by Dr Matt Firla-Cuchra, counts c85 FTEs is the largest business area of IAG and encompasses work for major clients in the sector, including all UK utilities as well as some of the largest energy and water companies in Europe and beyond. We provide in-depth strategy, market, regulatory, cost assessment, corporate finance, transaction and energy transition advice to players and investors in the utilities sector. Our work combines elements of policy, finance, strategy and economics to assist our clients in structuring investments, securing financing, supporting regulatory regimes for the benefit of customers as well as maximising shareholder value.
