Project Manager 

At KPMG Microsoft Business Solution we implement best in class solutions for ERP and CRM. We have extensive knowledge and expertise in all areas, enabling us to provide our clients with an integrated end-to-end solution. Our solutions are based on the Microsoft Dynamics range of products which enables us to deliver, powerful, adaptable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to our customers. Such systems are strategic IT solutions which integrate all the management information across an entire organisation into one single intuitive software application. They embrace all departments of a company from finance to manufacturing to customer relationship management, HR and sales, in one single system.

The Role:

The Project Manager runs projects of any size in an efficient and effective manner, and is responsible for their delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and conformance to agreed requirements. This person is also responsible for the efficient utilization of assigned staff and any associated third parties and for ensuring that all project activities conform to the company’s quality management standards and processes.

Responsabilities: 

• Plans and manages assigned projects, keeping customer and senior management informed about project progress;
• Compiles and agrees the project plan with the client.
• Compiles and agrees with the client any Statements of Work in line with contractual arrangements with the client.
• Monitors progress against project plan and budget, correcting and / or escalating abnormal situations Maintains the Project Plan, in particular with forecast completion dates and impact analysis;
• Tracks actual costs vs plan (using Microsoft project and our internal Dynamics AX time recording system);
• Maintains awareness of all ongoing non-trivial problems towards their solution. Ensures that project objectives are met;
• Monitors and controls all individuals allocated to the project ensuring that all project activities are carried out in accordance with the appropriate standards. This includes ensuring that activities are planned and executed in line with the KPMG Microsoft Business Solution project delivery methodology;
• Manages any third parties that may be involved as sub-contractors within the project, as relevant, and ensures that any deliverables are produced on time, to required quality standards, and in line with agreed commercials; refers as n

This role is in the Security Advisory and Assessment (SAA) team, within the KPMG UK Information Security function.  The SAA team are critical in the assessment, development and delivery of innovative, technology-enabled secure solutions for KPMG and our clients.  The SAA team is vital to KPMG’s ability to demonstrate that we are delivering ‘secure by design’ solutions such that our business stakeholders, our clients and our regulators trust KPMG. 

The Privacy team is at the forefront of ensuring KPMG is compliant with the legislative and regulatory obligations outlined in data protection law. 

Operating in the 2nd Line of Defence as a Data Privacy Manager, you will support the delivery of the privacy compliance programme, empowering teams across the firm to navigate complexities of data protection and privacy compliance, helping to minimise risk.   

You will enable teams to assess engagements, processes and technologies for privacy compliance, including those leveraging transformational technologies such as Generative AI.  You will help drive internal compliance with KPMG’s obligations under Data Protection (GDPR, UKDPA) and Privacy of Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

The Data Privacy Manager will apply their data protection and privacy skills to perform all relevant duties as part of the Data Privacy Office Operating Model

• The Employment Law Team comprises 15 team members who regularly work with a wide cross-section of the KPMG client-facing business.
• The Team is growing fast.  In the past 18 months it has gone from I to 3 Partners.
• The team undertakes a variety of work with a focus on workforce and pay compliance (including national minimum wage, holiday pay, employment status, pay gap reporting and equal pay), workforce change (people aspects of restructurings including redundancies and TUPE transfers,  changes to terms and conditions and transactional support) as well as general HR/ ER advisory work and global employment projects.
