The Security Operations Centre - Assistant Manager role will provide the pivotal function of planning, designing, building and sustaining SOC and Next-Generation SOC services, operating within the uppermost levels of Government. You will work as part of an elite team of specialists, advising government and industry clients on their largest, most complex, and highest profile strategic issues.

This is an enormously exciting opportunity for a sales professional to represent KPMG across the Private Enterprise market in Scotland. Privately owned businesses – including start-ups, private equity backed, owner-managed, family-owned, inbound, and AIM listed – represent some of the most dynamic and impactful enterprises in the UK market. The KPMG UK Fintech team is a significant and growing business looking after more than 140 clients. The Fintech team incorporates KPMG’s digital assets business where the firm supports a growing number of UK and International crypto businesses.  Indirect tax is a significant proportion of this Fintech business, and we are looking for an experienced VAT Senior Manager to work alongside the VAT partner who not only leads the Fintech VAT practice, but also leads the wider KPMG Fintech team across the UK.

The Role

Deal Advisory Tax provides market leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors.  Whilst we have teams focused on clients in four key markets Corporates; Private Equity & Credit; Real Estate and Energy & Infrastructure, we are a national and connected team, working and learning with each other.

• Corporates:  We work alongside some of the most forward-thinking FTSE 100 and 250 businesses, as well as Corporates across the UK, supporting them with strategic acquisitions, carve outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures both in the UK and cross-border. Our corporates business is a multi-sector business, including Consumer, Life sciences, TMT, Industrials, ENR and Banking & Insurance.
