KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations. The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 13 partners and approximately 220 professional staff in the UK.

 

We have a significant growth plan over the next three years and in order to support this we are looking to recruit motivated individuals who are seeking a real challenge, to build on our successes to date and help us achieve our growth targets.

 

This Manager role is Financial Services focussed. KPMG has one of the largest Financial Services Indirect Tax departments, advising banking, insurance, investment management, asset backed finance, real estate and private equity clients across a broad range of issues.

 

The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivery at this specialist level and will be actively involved in managing the performance of junior colleagues within the team.

We are seeking talented Senior Managers with experience in people centric large scale Organisation Transformation who bring experience, insight, and energy to drive complex change programmes- ranging from target Operating Model Transformation programmes Change – including ERP and digital led change, Global Business Services/Shared Services transformations, Customer, Strategy led change, and cost reduction programmes. This role will sit within our People Centric Transformation capability. 


We are specifically looking for individuals who have the end to end breadth of culture and change management, organisation design/redesign, and people transition planning to help our trusted clients realise their business outcomes. We help financial services organisations – Banks, Insurance companies, FMIs, Wealth and Asset managers, and Fintechs – to change and adapt to the environment in which they operate.  Changes may be driven by decisions to digitise, to streamline, to pivot, to respond to new regulation or to harness the benefits of analytics or new technology.   Or they may be driven by acquisition or disposal.  Whatever the reason, our clients are continually re-designing parts of the organisation, and that’s where we come in.  

 

We are looking for experienced consultants who can lead Organisation Design workstreams on complex, business critical programmes.  You will be expected to

  • Scope, price and design our approach for a particular client (with support from a Partner or Director), and then to lead delivery of this work
  • Lead/support business development and grow revenues from the existing work portfolio
  • Use leading practice problem-solving methodologies to address client issues and structure projects
  • Work and collaborate with colleagues from other service lines such as technology, finance, customer or analytics
