We are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager to provide tax advisory, compliance management and business development services to our clients and targets.
This work would include:

• Being the principal contact with many clients on day to day tax matters and working with managers, senior managers, directors or partners on larger clients
• Being involved on tax advisory and planning work on client portfolio and working with senior colleagues and specialists to deliver expertise to the local market
• Assisting with business development and attending client events.  
• Responding appropriately to requests from clients for other KPMG services.  Co-ordinating a number of different teams internally to provide a single point of contact for the client in delivering a comprehensive cross-tax offering.
• Working with the tax computation processing team in the management and delivery of tax compliance work. Monitoring the tax compliance position using tax administration software
• Reviewing corporation tax computations and advising the client on the computational treatment of contentious issues
• Co-ordinating tax payments, loss relief, capital allowances, group relief and other claims
• Delegating delivery of work to junior colleagues whilst maintaining control of quality and timetables.
• Coaching and developing more junior members of staff
• Maintaining strong financial management of client accounts. For example making sure that fees are raised regularly and identifying situations where overruns can be billed
• Keeping internal control records up to date and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures

The Individual:
• Qualified (ACA or CTA or equivalent)
• Sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation and preferably awareness of international tax issues
• Sound knowledge of accountancy principles, in particular accounting for tax (including deferred taxation and accounts disclosures)
• Strong time and task management skills.  Able to remain calm when under pressure and meet deadlines
• Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work
• Monitors and upholds high quality of service and products to clients (internal and external).  A practical approach to problems with client focus and commercial awareness
• Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work.  Continuously learns from experiences. Seeks out feedback and development opportunities

Senior ServiceNow Senior Manager

 

The Role:

As a Senior ServiceNow Senior Manager you will be responsible for leading delivery of ServiceNow based solutions across multiple client projects. You must analyse new business requirements and their correct technical implementation solutions using industry best practices. You will work closely with client stakeholders, delivery leads, business analysts, developers and testers to guide the design through to implementation and beyond whilst ensuring KPMG risk and quality standards are adhered to.
 

Key aspects of the role are:

  • Lead the technical delivery of a portfolio of projects based on the ServiceNow platform
  • Define technical solutions (at an architectural and design level of detail)
  • Provide senior technical leadership and mentoring to junior architects and offshore development teams.
  • Deliver compelling solution demonstrations across the ServiceNow platform.
  • Assist development teams in resolving technical issues through all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous growth of knowledge around the ServiceNow platform through certifications, internal/external webinars, case studies, training, community and other resources.
  • Support the ServiceNow presales opportunity lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of KPMG’s ServiceNow based product roadmap.
  • Operate as a member of the wider KPMG community, sharing knowledge across functions and building your personal network within the firm.

 

The Person

Required experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting / professional services and technical delivery
  • A proven track record of delivering technology projects on the ServiceNow platform as a Solution Architect
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
  • Certified Implementation Specialist in at least 3 product suites
  • Experience of agile and traditional software and project methodologies

Preferred experience:

  • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certified in ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
  • Experience of leading offshore development teams and working with engagement leads, project managers and business analysts to deliver enterprise wide ServiceNow solutions
  • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: Integration Hub, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, etc.
  • Experience in scripting on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, CSS and Angular JS: Flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Widgets and UI Pages
  • Ability to author clear and comprehensive documentation

The Role: 

 

The Solution Architect is responsible for creating and delivering innovative solutions for our clients. This person must be comfortable working in an agile manner and be able to spot opportunities for the Azure practice, both within KPMG and customer environments. The person should be comfortable presenting Azure services and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, articulating the benefits to their business, with the goal to drive growth for the Azure practice. The Solution Architect will work with clients, manage technical teams during projects and act as the TDA for projects.  

 

The Solution Architect will be responsible for: 

 

  • Working with clients on their Microsoft cloud adoption strategy. 
  • Leading cloud engagements. 
  • Creating high level architectural designs based on customer requirements for infrastructure and applications. 
  • Deliver product presentations and configured demonstrations to prove our ability to meet a prospect’s cloud adoption needs. 
  • Act as the Technical Design Authority on projects alongside the Technical Architects. 
  • Provide governance to projects and mentor members of the team. 
  • Showcase our propositions to customers via online webinars and face to face workshops. 
  • Engage with KPMG stakeholders and ensure our solutions are understood throughout the firm. 
  • Engage with customers on a long-term basis and drive Microsoft Azure adoption. 
  • Create collateral and GTM ideas to enhance our offering in the marketplace. 
  • Work on proposals and RFI’s alongside the sales and pre-sales teams. 
  • Maintaining technical knowledge by working closely with our Microsoft account teams.
