KPMG is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager in their in-house Tax team, specialising in partner tax compliance. Reporting to the Senior Manager in the Partner Tax Compliance team, the individual will be required to demonstrate excellent tax compliance skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The work is by nature high profile and the ability to treat matters with the utmost confidentiality will be key. The role involves interacting with individual partners and working alongside other internal departments including the Partnership Office, Risk and Independence, payroll and OGC to deliver an efficient tax compliance and advisory service to partners as well as the partnership.

We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations. Working closely with a Senior Media Relations Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate with relevant business, marketing and corporate affairs colleagues to promote key themes and priorities from the People and Corporate Responsibility areas in the media.

The role is within KPMG UK’s Internal Partnership Tax Team who are responsible for 
dealing with all tax matters relating to KPMG ‘UK’. This role specifically involves reviewing 
and advising on overseas tax and reporting requirements when KPMG ‘UK’ colleagues 
travel/work overseas for business or are authorized to work overseas for personal reasons.
