Our team works with clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large multinational organisations. We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our London team, focusing primarily on the real estate, infrastructure, banking, and insurance sectors, who has a strong background in capital allowances.

The Role

We are currently looking to recruit a manager to be based in CSQ although we work as a wider London region team made up of 3 other offices.  You will play a key role in expanding our tax governance offering, supporting existing clients, winning new work and developing new client relationships.

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities. Overview

This exciting role is within our Tax Governance & Risk Management Team based in our CSQ office.

We are looking for a talented individual at Manager level to support our continued rapid growth around tax governance. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across UK listed, PE backed, multinationals, inbound and family-owned groups,

Role and Responsibilities: 

Working as a key member of the team to further develop and expand the firm's tax governance offering, including advising clients on:

• Identifying and managing tax risks across the globe.
• Building sustainable tax control frameworks to meet global tax authority requirements.
• Identifying the tax risks within tax transformation and technology projects.
• Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offence compliance.
• HMRC business risk review preparation.
• Developing and documenting their tax strategy and its publication.
• Meeting global tax transparency and ESG requirements.
• Liaising with HMRC on tax governance related matters

You will also be involved in:

• Leveraging tax technology to improve risk management and compliance processes.
• Liaising with specialists in the UK and overseas offices to oversee their input into projects.
• Coaching and developing more junior members of the team.
• Managing aspects of the team’s operations and performance, including resourcing.

We work with major public and private sector entities, principally those with major capital and infrastructure commitments in Transport (highways and rail), Defence, Power & Utilities, Telecoms and Energy Transition. This is a fast-growing area offering exciting opportunities building upon a global capability in Asset ManagemenWe are seeking an industry-leading Asset Management professional to become part of our team in KPMG UK supporting all AMA activity across the business including Operating Model Transformation, Strategy and Planning, Resilience, Estates Management, assurance and internal audit, with a specific focus on supporting our Oil and Gas clients navigate the energy transition.

The Senior Manager role is central to delivering complex client engagements, shaping the strategic direction of KPMG’s Legal Business Services (LBS), and building our market presence. You will lead large-scale, multi-national transformations that embed legal into business processes, leveraging AI, technology, and managed services to redesign legal fulfilment.
