Role and Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining good relationships with clients
- Being the day to day contact for allocated clients
- Review of tax returns, and preparation/review of Income Tax/NIC calculations
- Conduct arrival/departure briefings
- Contributing to client service teams, helping ensure they function smoothly and effectively
- Preparation of written advice for clients, and helping to advice clients on GMS issues
- Project management of advisory projects carried out for clients
- Ensuring clients are provided with up to date information on GMS developments
- Involvement in business development/proposals
- Managing and coaching more junior staff

Lead the global response to significant cyber security incidents and help strengthen resilience across KPMG International’s network of member firms. As Senior Manager, Global Cyber Security Incident Response, you will coordinate high-severity investigations, guide cross-functional teams and act as deputy to the Global Cyber Security Incident Response Team Lead when required. You will shape the continued development of the incident response capability through stronger governance, service improvement, automation and artificial intelligence-enabled practices. HR M&A was set up as part of the Integration & Separation (I&S) team in Deal Advisory, which has been growing year on year and seen by our clients as a market leader. We have worked on some of the largest and most high-profile client engagements in the deals space, including multi-billion spins, integration of global mega mergers, disposals of non-core assets for large multinationals. We have launched a market differentiating digital engagement platform for M&A as well as a campaign focused on ‘the Human Side of Deals’, and we continue to drive digital innovation.

• A strong delivery track record in Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close implementations (Oracle FCC) who can leverage business and technology-based solutions to deliver outcomes for our clients.
• System design and delivery, including release management, integration management, data migration strategy and management.
• Prior consulting experience on delivery financial consolidation and close processes for customer across different industries is a preferred requirement
• An understanding of Financial Services Organisation’s Target Operating Model, Process & Controls, Organisation Design, Change Management and Business Readiness is needed.

The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 20 partners and approximately 200 professional staff located across the UK.  We work to support our portfolio of clients with a variety of Indirect tax issues.  Within the team we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain, International Trade, alongside our Public Sector specialisms.  We work closely with our colleagues in Trade & Customs, Corporate and Employment tax to deliver value to KPMG’s clients.
