The KPMG Alternatives team provides high-quality and impactful tax advisory and compliance services to the Alternative Investment Fund sector. This includes private equity, hedge funds, credit funds and real estate funds.

This posting is for a role focussed on Alternative Investment Fund tax and would be well suited to a driven and motivated candidate with experience in the Alternative Investment Fund sector. Our Contract Performance & Insight (CP&I) team sits within KPMG’s Customer and Operations Advisory practice. We’re a dynamic mix of qualified accountants and commercially minded professionals who help clients unlock value from their third-party contracts.

Using a blend of audit techniques, technology, and strategic thinking, we analyse financial performance and contract compliance to identify cost recovery opportunities and drive operational improvements. Our work spans a wide range of agreement types—from royalties and software to supplier contracts—across both public and private sectors.

Power & Utilities (P&U), led by Dr Matt Firla-Cuchra, counts c85 FTEs is the largest business area of the IAG and encompasses work for major clients in the sector, including all UK utilities as well as some of the largest energy and water companies in Europe and beyond. We provide in-depth strategic and technical advice on strategy and business planning and analysis, corporate finance and corporate financial management, regulatory policy, cost assessment and benchmarking as well as in other areas to help our clients create value for both shareholders and customers. Our work combines elements of policy, finance, strategy and economics to assist our clients in structuring investments, securing financing, supporting regulatory regimes for the benefit of customers as well as maximising shareholder value.
